Privacy Policy — Tawano

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• the public website at https://tawano.com (the "Site"), and
• the interactive demo at https://try.tawano.com (the "Demo").

It does not apply to the Tawano mobile or web application, which will be governed by a separate privacy notice when released.

2. Personal data we collect

2.1. Information you provide directly

Support correspondence.
If you contact us at support@tawano.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. Mail sent to this address is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to our company Gmail mailbox. As part of delivering your message, Google may process the contents of the correspondence, sender addresses, and technical data necessary for email delivery, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. We use this information solely to read and respond to your request (see Section 3).

Email updates ("Get Updates") — not currently offered.
Email subscriptions are not currently offered, and no email addresses are being collected. See Section 4.

Interactive Demo.
The Demo at try.tawano.com shows an example of how Tawano works. It does not create real orders, does not process real payments, and does not require creating an account. The Demo runs as a static page in your browser and makes no network requests of its own apart from loading typefaces (see Section 2.2): completing the steps does not submit data to our servers. Entries you make during the Demo exist only while the page is open and are discarded when you leave or reload it.

2.2. Information collected automatically

No analytics or tracking.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or cookies for tracking or advertising purposes on the Site or the Demo.

Technical data.
When you visit the Site or the Demo, technical data such as your IP address is processed by our infrastructure provider Cloudflare to deliver the pages securely (see Section 5).

The Site's pages are served entirely from our own infrastructure: all images, stylesheets, and other resources load from the Site itself, and the pages use the system font stack of your device. The Site's pages initiate no third-party network requests.

The Demo loads the Manrope typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches the font files, it makes requests to fonts.googleapis.com (stylesheet) and fonts.gstatic.com (font files), and Google receives your IP address in accordance with Google's privacy policy. Apart from Google Fonts, the Demo's pages initiate no other third-party requests.

3. Purposes of processing

We use personal data only for the following purposes:

1. Responding to you — to read and answer messages sent to support@tawano.com.
2. Operating and securing the sites — to keep tawano.com and try.tawano.com available, functional, and protected against misuse.

We do not use personal data for any other purpose.

4. Email updates ("Get Updates") — not currently offered

Email subscriptions are not currently offered; no email addresses are being collected.

If an email subscription feature is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before any email addresses are collected, describing what data is collected, how consent is obtained and confirmed, how to unsubscribe, and how long subscriber data is kept. We will not begin collecting email addresses for updates until the updated policy is published.

5. Service providers

We share personal data only with the providers listed below, and only as necessary to operate the Site and the Demo, except where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law. We do not sell personal data.

Stripe and Supabase. These services are part of the Tawano application's infrastructure. The public Site and the interactive Demo do not use Stripe or Supabase, create no real orders, and process no payments. Their data practices will be described in the application's separate privacy notice when it is released.

6. Cookies, logs, and analytics

• We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
• Operational and security logs are maintained by our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) under its own policies.

7. Data storage and security

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in Section 3:

• Support correspondence is kept while your request is open and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle follow-ups, then deleted.
• Technical logs are maintained by our infrastructure provider under its own policies.

If an email subscription feature is introduced in the future, retention rules for subscriber data will be described in the updated Privacy Policy before any collection begins (see Section 4).

Traffic to our sites is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited data we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.

8. Sharing of personal data

We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data only to the service providers listed in Section 5, as necessary to operate the Site and the Demo, and where required or permitted by applicable law.

9. Your rights

You may at any time:

• ask what personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to delete your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@tawano.com. We will handle your request in accordance with applicable law and without undue delay. We do not promise specific response timeframes beyond what the law requires.

10. Children

Tawano is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe data of a minor has been provided to us, please contact support@tawano.com; we will handle your request in accordance with applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice.
